This does a 180 from stereotypical notions of enlightenment as "bagging" some state of endless bliss...Enlightenment is the other direction- closer to what is, rather than away from what is. Thanks for this jewel from John Blofield.
Yes, or as Wayne Liquorman has said, "Enlightenment is simply What IS, and non-enlightenment merely the belief that something other than Enlightenment exists."
