in non-duality, there isn't any "thing"

What you are is "no thing",

not even existence or non-existence,

consciousness or unconsciousness,

in time or timeless.

All such designations are conceptual

and in duality.

  1. I like Wheeler's pointer and your post title. For a while I thought I was consciousness, love, peace, freedom, etc. It's funny that it feels like a relief be no concept, absolutely no-thing at all. Interesting to ponder who could feel relief and if relief even exists at all.

  2. We are context, not content. Love this quote, thanks Tom.

  3. Hi Colleen, I hate to say it, but 'context and content' appear to be another pair of opposing "conceptual designations in duality."

    Don't they?

  4. Just so it is! Non-duality

Profound and tranquil, free of complexity.
    Uncompounded, luminous clarity.
Beyond the mind of conceptual ideas.

  5. Greetings, Vareda !

What do you think of Ken Wilber's phrase to "transcend and include"?

Are you familiar with his writing(especially regarding non-duality)?

  6. Hi Diane, regarding 'things' like relief, I like the analogy of the 'wave.' We can certainly point to 'a wave' (even of relief), but we usually don't think of it as a 'separate entity.'
