He meant the pointers. You seem to mean "what" is pointed at. Yes?And in a sense, the two aren't connected. The pointers can only point beyond themselves to "What IS", untouchable by any concept.
Gotcha- thanks for the clarification Tom. I saw an interesting video of Wayne the other day and liked what he said about the FSA- false sense of authorship.

To me the FSA is basically the ego. I find it helpful to hear about the ego when it is described as the FSA.
It occurs to me that the Huang Po quote you just posted makes a nice counterpoint to the FSA.
